Start with the purpose of the test and the requirements of the receiving court or agency. A personal-use test or a rapid screen may not satisfy a legal order.
For drug and alcohol testing, confirm the required panel, specimen type, observation requirements, collection schedule and reporting recipients. Available services include urine, hair, fingernail, breath alcohol and PEth testing; these tests answer different questions and should match the order.
For legal paternity or other relationship testing, arrange identity verification and chain of custody before samples are collected. Immigration DNA testing requires coordination with the appropriate laboratory and requesting agency. Acceptance of evidence and case decisions remain with the receiving authority.
Eligible non-lab drug screens and breath alcohol tests provide immediate screening results. Laboratory analysis, confirmation and medical review take additional time. Standard postnatal DNA results are available within 48 hours from collection; Friday collections may take longer. Prenatal services have separate timelines. Confirm case-specific collection and reporting deadlines with us in advance.
