What does a CBC measure?
A CBC measures blood-cell components, including red and white blood cells, platelets, hemoglobin and hematocrit. It is one part of a clinical assessment; results alone do not establish a diagnosis. Discuss test selection and results with your healthcare professional.
If your request specifies a CBC with differential or other requirements, tell our team before booking so we can confirm the exact test.
Collection and laboratory processing
Smart Labs Now collects blood and other specimens using the collection protocols for the requested test, then sends samples to the appropriate partner laboratory for processing. Laboratory results should be discussed with your healthcare professional.
Do I need to fast for a CBC?
A CBC by itself usually does not need special preparation. Other tests ordered with it may require fasting. Confirm instructions before collection.
When will I receive results?
Result timing depends on laboratory processing. Ask our team for an estimate for your requested test; collection and result delivery are separate steps.

Yes. Collection and ordering fees are included in the $49 price for the individual CBC test.
